As the Executive Director for Oakwood Village, Rouzbeh is responsible for the complete operation of the community. He is responsible for the satisfaction of every resident at Oakwood Village. It is his responsibility to maintain safety, quality assurance, and resident satisfaction along with community relations. Rouzbeh has had the pleasure of working in Retirement and Assisted living communities since 2008. Working with seniors is one of his many passions.
Carissa Reilly has been a part of the Platinum family since 2011. She started out working at Sierra Regency, our sister Community, and worked her way up to Oakwood Village. Carissa has always had a passion for seniors having been introduced to the assisted living and skilled nursing environment at a very young age. She knew working with the elderly was the career for her. Since Carissa began her journey in Senior Care she has worn many hats, starting as a dietary server and then transitioning over to a caregiver/medication technician, to Concierge, and now promoted to Administrative Assistant. It is Carissa’s responsibility to make sure all regulations are followed in our community, along with managing all resident rent deposits and billing. Carissa oversees the concierges, meets with family members regarding admission agreements and handles all billing questions. Carissa is also responsible for making sure our valued employees are continuously supported. Carissa has found her calling working with seniors and after being introduced to the administration aspect of the business, she continues to do great things for Oakwood Village.
Melissa Wood has been apart of our Community since June 2013. She has worked with our residents as a Med – Tech and is now the Resident Wellness Director for Oakwood Village. Her responsibility is to oversee the care staff and make sure that our residents receive the best care and love we can give them. Melissa has always had an interest in caring for others. She is very passionate about what she does here and considers everyone a part of her family.
Kelsey has been a part of the team at Oakwood Village since October 2015. She started as a caregiver and is now our Business Office Manager. She has provided transportation for our residents to and from their doctor’s appointments and assisted the Resident Care Director and Wellness Director on any tasks they need assistance on. While having a close family member pass away after their battle with severe dementia, Kelsey holds our resident’s with dementia near and dear. Kelsey loves working with seniors for the simple fact of doing a small task for them and receiving the most rewarding smile. Kelsey strives to be light in our resident’s lives.
Janet Lee is our new Life Enrichment Director. Previously Janet Lee worked at one of our sister communities Gladding Ridge as a Medical Technician. While working as a Medical Technician Janet realized she wanted to spend more time with, and work closer with seniors within the community while enjoying more one on one time with them. She is excited to bring new ideas, and is eager to get to know each one of our residents and team members. As Life Enrichment director, she is responsible for planning, coordinating, and carrying out fun activities that all our residents enjoy and improve the quality of life here at Oakwood Village. Janet has a big heart and truly cares for the senior community. Janet is ready for the new challenges her position presents, and is excited to thrive with us at Oakwood Village!
As the Maintenance Director, Ryan has been making sure that Oakwood’s facilities are modern, efficient, comfortable and running smooth since July 2000. With over 25 years in the business of managing facilities for the senior community, he feels a special connection to our residents and takes great pride in making sure everyone stays safe, happy and comfortable. Besides being the go-to-guy who can fix anything, his friendly demeanor and caring smile make him a favorite at Oakwood Village.
Cassandra Reynolds has worked in the housekeeping department at Oakwood since January 2011. She has always had a passion for fashion so laundry is an amazing outlet for her and she takes it very serious. She has a great team of housekeepers who are here seven days a week for daily wipe downs and weekly deep cleans of the resident’s rooms and common areas. Getting to know the residents and their families has been very special for her. Always keeping in mind how she would want any one of her loved ones in a facility, and how she would want their home and laundry taken care of is a top priority for her she really enjoys what she does.
The first smiling face to greet you at Oakwood Village is Melissa Holder. She has been apart of the Oakwood team since July 2015 and since then has done an amazing job at assisting all departments when needed. Melissa assists in keeping the office running smoothly with her reception, clerical and customer service skills. She really enjoys interacting with each and every resident and family member who walks through the door, and is especially good at making them feel comfortable when they arrive.
