I would like to introduce myself. I am Heather Mendoza, and I currently serve as the Resident Care Assistant at Oakwood Village. Having dedicated 14 years of my life to healthcare, I bring a deep and diverse breadth of experience in this field. My qualifications include earned degrees in Pharmacy Tech and Phlebotomy.

My journey at Oakwood began as a humble caregiver and Medication Tech. Through dedication and hard work, I proudly hold the title of Resident Care Assistant now. My passion is and always will be helping others. It is something that naturally echoes in every action I undertake.

It is the time spent with the residents that I value the most. I find immense joy in listening to their stories, learning about their experiences, and sharing their daily life occurrences – a blessing I hold dear every single day. I am often commended for being an extraordinarily positive individual, always retaining my smile no matter the situation and constantly striving to see the good in every circumstance.

Oakwood Village has become more than just a workplace to me, it has become my second home and the wonderful residents, my extended family. I am incredibly excited for this journey and look forward to this continuing relationship.
