In 2020, I began working at Oakwood Village’s sister community, Gladding Ridge as a concierge. I had the pleasure of getting to know the wonderful residents and staff. I felt as though each day I went to work, I was spending time with my second family. During my time at Gladding Ridge, I realized working in this field was a great fit for me and would align with the skill sets I possess.

As Concierge, I was a liaison between many parties. My job was to ensure I was helping residents get their needs met in an accurate and efficient manner. My work there paved a clear pathway for my coworkers to provide the best care possible to our residents. My favorite part was getting to talk with the residents and learn about their lives.

In May of 2022, I was promoted to Business Office Manager for Oakwood Village. My job is to take care of all channels of payment for the building as well as the residents. I also oversee Human Resources related tasks. I am happy to be in this position and look forward to getting to know our residents as well as assisting them and their loved ones during their time with our lovely community.
